More Than Just Umrah Packages

Last Minute Umrah Packages from the UK | How Fast You Can Actually Go, and What It Really Costs

If you already hold a valid meningococcal ACWY certificate and a passport with six months left on it, you can realistically be in Makkah inside seven to ten days.

If you do not have that certificate, the honest answer is about two weeks minimum, and no agency in Britain can shorten it. That is the single most useful thing on this page, so it goes first.

The thing everyone gets wrong

People searching for last minute Umrah assume the problem is finding a seat and a room. It usually is not. Flights to Jeddah run daily from several UK airports and there is nearly always something available at some price.

The bottleneck is paperwork. Saudi Arabia will not issue an Umrah visa without proof of ACWY vaccination, and it will not accept a certificate dated less than ten days before you arrive. That ten day rule is set by the Saudi authorities, not by us, and there is no way to pay your way past it.

So the real question is not how quickly we can book you. It is what documents you already have in a drawer.

Quick answer

Valid passport plus valid ACWY certificate: you can travel in roughly 7 to 10 days.

Valid passport, no ACWY certificate: roughly 14 days minimum.

Passport needs renewing: add up to three weeks, or use the Fast Track service.

Last minute is usually more expensive than booking ahead, not less. We explain why below.

Hold a package with a £99 deposit, though departures inside 8 weeks need paying in full.

Why we will tell you if it is not possible

Some agencies will take a deposit for a departure that was never achievable and sort out the disappointment later. We would rather spend two minutes on WhatsApp telling you that next Thursday cannot happen and that the Thursday after can.

Send us three things and we will give you a straight answer the same day. Passport expiry date, whether you have an ACWY certificate and what date it was issued, and the window you are trying to travel in.

The vaccine, which is the real bottleneck

What Saudi Arabia requires

Proof of meningococcal ACWY vaccination is mandatory for an Umrah visa. There is no exemption, no workaround and no version of this you can buy your way out of. No certificate, no visa.

The ten day rule

The certificate has to be dated at least ten days before you arrive in Saudi Arabia. A vaccine given three days before your flight will not be accepted even though the injection has happened.

This is where most last minute plans die. Somebody books a flight for next weekend, then discovers on Wednesday that the vaccine they had on Tuesday does not count.

Check whether you already have one

This is worth five minutes of searching through paperwork, because it changes everything.

The ACWY certificate is generally valid for several years. If you or a family member performed Umrah or Hajj in the last few years, the certificate may well still be in date, which takes you straight into the seven to ten day bracket. Look in the passport wallet, the folder from the last trip, or ask whoever organised it.

Where to get it quickly

Your GP practice first. Many charge privately for the Hajj and Umrah ACWY vaccine so ask about the cost when you ring. If they cannot see you soon enough, private travel clinics and pharmacy travel services across the UK offer it, often with same or next day appointments, which for a last minute booking is worth the extra cost.

Book the appointment before you book the trip

That is the reverse of what everyone does and it is the right order for a short notice booking. Get a vaccine date confirmed, then tell us, and we build the itinerary around it.

The visa timeline

How long it takes

We submit through Nusuk, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah platform. Four to seven working days is standard, and it is often quicker.

Working days matter here. A submission on Friday afternoon does not start moving until Monday, so a Thursday enquiry and a following Wednesday departure is tight in a way a calendar makes look fine.

What we need from you, and how fast

Passport with at least six months validity from your travel date, a passport photo, and the ACWY certificate. All by WhatsApp, and on a last minute booking we need them within hours rather than days.

The single most common delay on a short notice booking is somebody sending a blurry passport photo taken at an angle in poor light. Photograph the passport flat, in daylight, with the whole page in frame.

If your passport needs renewing

Standard UK renewal takes around three weeks. There is a one week Fast Track service and a same day premium option, both at extra cost, and for a genuine emergency they are worth it.

Do not send your passport off and book flights at the same time. Get the new passport in your hand first, because the visa is issued against a specific passport number.

Name matching

The name on your booking has to match the passport exactly. Middle names, spelling, the order of names. On a normal booking we can fix a mismatch. On a booking four days out, a mismatch can end the trip.

Is last minute Umrah cheaper? Usually not

This is where we part company with most of the industry, so let us be direct about it.

Umrah does not work like a beach holiday

Late deals to Spain exist because tour operators charter whole aircraft and empty seats are worth nothing on the day. They would rather sell at a loss than fly the seat empty.

Umrah runs on scheduled airlines and contracted hotel allocation. Airlines price seats to rise as departure approaches, because the people booking late are the ones who most need to travel. Hotels near the Haram do not discount, because there is always somebody else.

What that means for the number

A departure inside four weeks typically prices higher than the same package booked four months out. In a quiet month the gap might be modest. In December or around Ramadan it can be very large.

So if you are searching for last minute Umrah because you want a bargain, the honest advice is to book three or four months ahead instead. If you are searching because you genuinely need to travel soon, read on, because there is still plenty we can do.

Where genuine late value does exist

Two situations, and they are real rather than marketing.

Hotel cancellations. Rooms near the Haram do get released when a group booking shrinks or a booking falls through, and if you are flexible about which property you take, we can sometimes place you somewhere better than the price suggests.

Genuinely quiet windows. Late January, most of November, and the first half of September are soft periods where a late booking barely costs more than an early one. If your dates are flexible, tell us and we will point you at the cheapest week rather than the one you first asked about.

What you give up when you book late

Four things, and it is better to know now than to be disappointed at the airport.

Hotel choice

On an advance booking you pick the property. On a late booking you pick from what is left. That usually means further from the Haram, and we will tell you the distance in metres so you can decide rather than discover.

Direct flights

Direct services to Jeddah fill first. A late booking is more likely to connect through a Gulf hub, which adds hours and a second boarding. Not a disaster, but plan for it, particularly if elderly parents are travelling.

Room configuration

Quad sharing at the headline rate needs four people in one room and those rooms go early. A family of five booking two weeks out may need two rooms rather than one, which changes the per person cost more than the fare does.

The Rawdah

Permits for the Rawdah in Madinah are free and booked through the Nusuk app on a rolling basis, and they go quickly. Women have fewer sessions and they go quicker still.

On a last minute trip you may not get the slot you want. Book it the moment your visa is approved, not when you land. And be wary of anybody who offers to sell you one, because nobody can.

Why people actually book last minute

In our experience it is almost never about finding a deal. It is usually one of these.

A parent is unwell

The commonest reason by some distance. Somebody has had a diagnosis, or has declined over a winter, and the family decides to go now rather than next year.

If this is you, tell us at the first message. It changes the hotel we pick, whether we recommend a direct flight over a cheaper connection, and whether we suggest a longer stay so there is no pressure to do everything at once. See the luxury packages page for the proximity tiers, because in this situation metres matter more than stars.

A bereavement

Somebody has died and a family member wants to go and make dua. There is nothing to arrange around this beyond speed and not making it harder than it already is. We keep the process short and we do not upsell.

Leave came through unexpectedly

Shift workers, NHS staff, drivers, self-employed people whose diary suddenly cleared. Perfectly ordinary and very common.

A booking fell through somewhere else

An agent stopped answering, a visa did not materialise, a price changed after the deposit. If this has happened to you, send us what you have, including whatever was confirmed in writing, and we will tell you what is salvageable.

A relative is visiting from abroad

Family over from Pakistan, the Gulf or elsewhere for a few weeks, and everyone wants to go together while they are here. Worth telling us the visa position for each traveller at the start, because it varies.

Message us about a short notice booking

How to spot a bad last minute deal

Somebody in a hurry is the easiest person in travel to take advantage of. These are the things worth walking away from.

Anyone promising a visa in 24 or 48 hours

Nusuk takes the time it takes. An agency that promises same day approval is either guessing or lying, and you will find out four days before you fly.

Anyone who will not name the hotel

Near Haram is not a hotel. On a last minute booking especially, get the property name and the distance in metres in writing before you pay. If they cannot confirm it yet, they should give you a shortlist and a guaranteed maximum distance.

Full payment with nothing in writing

Late bookings do need paying in full, and that is normal. What is not normal is paying before you have an itemised confirmation showing airline, flight numbers, hotel and total price.

A suspiciously cheap flight

It is probably a self-transfer. Two separate tickets, bags not checked through, and no protection if the first leg is delayed. On a tight itinerary that risk is much worse than usual, because there is no slack to absorb a missed connection.

Anybody selling a Rawdah slot

Free, through the Nusuk app, and impossible to guarantee. Anyone charging for one is selling something they do not have.

Vaccine advice that sounds too convenient

If somebody tells you the ten day rule can be worked around, stop. It cannot, and you will be turned back at the visa stage having already paid.

Per person, quad sharing, off-peak, booked in advance. Includes return flights, Saudi Umrah visa, hotels in Makkah and Madinah, and all ground transport inside Saudi Arabia. Departures inside four weeks generally price above these figures, and considerably above them in December and around Ramadan. We quote you the real number for your dates rather than the headline.

Why we show the advance price anyway

Because plenty of people land on this page, discover they have three or four weeks rather than three or four days, and decide to book properly instead. That is a better outcome for you and we would rather say so.

How our pricing works

We check comparable UK packages every month and sit £20 under the lowest we can find for the same nights and the same hotel tier. That applies to late bookings too. We do not have a separate urgency price.

Tier detail: 3 star, 4 star, 5 star, and the luxury range.

Payment on a late booking

The deposit

Any package can be held with a £99 deposit per person when you are booking ahead. Balance falls due eight weeks before departure.

What changes inside eight weeks

If you are travelling inside eight weeks, the balance is already due, so a late booking needs paying in full rather than on a deposit. That is not us being difficult, it is that the airline and hotel want their money on the same timeline regardless of when you booked.

We tell you this at quote stage rather than after you have paid £99 and assumed the rest could wait.

Instalments

Interest free instalments are available when you book four or more months ahead. They are not available on a two week booking, for the same reason.

Insurance

More important on a late booking, not less. Look specifically at cancellation cover, because a rushed trip has more moving parts. Buy it at the point of booking rather than later, since most policies only cover cancellation from the date you take them out.

Last minute Umrah in Ramadan

Worth its own section because the answer is different.

The first twenty nights

Difficult but not impossible. Expect to pay well above normal Ramadan pricing, which is already 40 to 70 per cent above off-peak, and expect a hotel further from the Haram than you would like.

The last ten nights

Realistically, no. Rooms anywhere near the Haram for Laylat al-Qadr are booked six to twelve months out, and what remains at short notice is either very far out or very expensive or both.

If somebody quotes you a cheap last minute package for the final ten nights, ask for the hotel name and the distance in metres before you get excited.

What we would suggest instead

Go in the first half of Ramadan if you can. The reward for Umrah in Ramadan applies across the month, not only the last ten nights, and the experience is far calmer.

Or book now for next year. Ramadan 2027 begins around 8 February 2027, subject to moon sighting, and the last ten nights of that are already worth securing.

The fast track booking sequence

For a genuine short notice booking, do it in this order. It is not the order most people use and it saves days.

  1. Find your ACWY certificate, or ring for a vaccine appointment. This first, before anything else. Everything else bends around this date.
  2. Check every passport for six months validity from your intended travel date. Not from today.
  3. WhatsApp +44 7737 144 335 with the vaccine date, the passport expiry dates, how many travelling, and your two most flexible airports.
  4. We come back within hours with what is actually achievable, and an itemised quote for it. If your dates are not possible we say so.
  5. Pay in full if you are inside eight weeks, and get the written confirmation before you do.
  6. Send passports, photos and ACWY certificates immediately. Photograph the passport flat, in daylight, whole page in frame.
  7. We submit to Nusuk the same day. Four to seven working days.
  8. The moment the visa lands, book your Rawdah permit in the Nusuk app yourself. Do not wait until you arrive.
  9. You travel. Your named agent is on WhatsApp throughout.

Last minute Umrah: 102 questions answered

Grouped by topic. Direct answer first, detail underneath where it earns its place.

How fast can I go

How quickly can I go for Umrah?

Seven to ten days if you already have a valid ACWY certificate and a passport with six months left. Around fourteen days if you need the vaccine first.

Can I go next week?

Only if your ACWY certificate is already in date. If you need the injection, the ten day rule makes next week impossible.

Can I go in three days?

No. The visa alone takes four to seven working days, and that assumes every document is already in order.

What is the absolute minimum notice?

About a week, and everything has to go right. Certificate in date, passport valid, documents sent within hours, and availability on your dates.

What is actually holding me up?

The vaccine, then the visa. Flights and hotels are almost never the limiting factor.

Can you get a visa faster than seven days?

It often comes through in four or five. Nobody can guarantee faster, and anyone promising 24 hours is not being straight with you.

Does a weekend count?

No. Visa processing runs on working days, so a Friday submission does not start moving until Monday.

What if my passport expires in four months?

You need to renew first. Saudi Arabia requires six months validity from your travel date.

How long does a UK passport renewal take?

Around three weeks standard. There is a one week Fast Track and a same day premium service at extra cost.

Can I book flights while my passport is being renewed?

Do not. The visa is issued against a specific passport number, so wait until the new one is in your hand.

I have a non-UK passport. Is it slower?

Sometimes. Processing times vary by nationality, so tell us at the first message rather than after you have paid.

Will you tell me if my dates are impossible?

Yes, and quickly. We would rather spend two minutes saying next Thursday cannot happen than take a deposit for a trip that was never achievable.

The vaccine

Do I really need the meningitis vaccine?

Yes. Meningococcal ACWY is mandatory for an Umrah visa. There is no exemption.

What is the ten day rule?

Your certificate must be dated at least ten days before you arrive in Saudi Arabia. A vaccine given three days before departure will not be accepted.

Can the ten days be waived?

No. It is set by the Saudi authorities and no agency can shorten it. Anyone who says otherwise is going to cost you money.

How do I know if I already have a certificate?

Look in your passport wallet or the folder from your last trip. If you or a family member did Umrah or Hajj in the last few years, it may well still be in date.

How long is the certificate valid?

Generally several years. This is why finding an old one is the single most valuable five minutes you can spend on a late booking.

Where do I get the vaccine quickly?

Your GP first. If they cannot see you soon enough, private travel clinics and pharmacy travel services often have same or next day appointments.

Is it free on the NHS?

Often not. Many practices charge privately for the Hajj and Umrah ACWY vaccine. Ask about the cost when you ring.

How much does it cost privately?

It varies by provider. On a last minute booking the convenience of a next day private appointment is usually worth the difference.

Do children need it too?

Yes. Book the whole family in at once rather than in stages.

Should I book the vaccine before the trip?

Yes, and this is the opposite of what most people do. Get a vaccine date confirmed first, then we build the itinerary around it.

What if I have a medical reason I cannot have it?

Speak to your GP. This is a medical question rather than a travel one, and we cannot advise on it.

The visa

How long does an Umrah visa take?

Four to seven working days through Nusuk, the official Saudi platform.

What documents do you need?

Passport with six months validity from your travel date, a passport photo, and your ACWY certificate.

How fast do I need to send them?

On a late booking, within hours rather than days. Every hour you take comes off the other end.

What slows visa applications down most?

Bad passport photos. Photograph the passport flat, in daylight, with the whole page in frame and no glare.

What if my name does not match exactly?

Tell us immediately. Middle names, spelling and name order all have to match. On a booking four days out, a mismatch can end the trip.

How long is the visa valid once issued?

90 days from issue with a 90 day maximum stay, and you can travel anywhere in Saudi Arabia on it.

Can I do Umrah on a Saudi tourist visa?

Yes, tourist visa holders may perform Umrah. Rules change, so confirm the current position before relying on it, particularly on a tight timeline.

What if the visa is refused?

Rare, and usually a document issue we can fix and resubmit. On a late booking that resubmission may cost you the dates, which is why the documents matter so much.

Can I apply for the visa myself?

Nusuk is the official route and we submit through it for you. On a short timeline having someone tracking it matters.

Cost

Is last minute Umrah cheaper?

Usually not. Umrah runs on scheduled airlines and contracted hotels, so fares rise as departure approaches rather than falling.

Why is it not like a cheap package holiday?

Beach holidays discount unsold charter seats because an empty seat is worth nothing on the day. Umrah does not work that way.

How much more does a late booking cost?

It depends heavily on the month. In January or November the gap is small. In December or around Ramadan it can be very large.

So when should I book to get the best price?

Three to four months ahead, six or more for Ramadan and December. If you are here for a bargain rather than because you need to travel, book properly instead.

Is there any genuine late value?

Yes, in two situations. Hotel cancellations near the Haram, and genuinely quiet windows like late January, November and early September.

What are your prices?

From £499 per person for 7 nights up to £825 for 14 nights at 5 star, booked in advance. Late departures price above that and we quote you the real number.

Do you charge extra for urgency?

No. There is no separate rush fee. The price moves because the airline and hotel prices move, not because you are in a hurry.

Do you still price under competitors on late bookings?

Yes. We check comparable UK packages monthly and sit £20 under the lowest for the same nights and tier, late bookings included.

Can I use Beat My Quote on a last minute booking?

Yes, and quickly. Send us the written quote through Beat My Quote and we will come back the same day.

Paying

Can I book with a £99 deposit?

Yes when you are booking ahead. Inside eight weeks the balance is already due, so a late booking needs paying in full.

Why is the deposit not enough for a late booking?

Because the airline and hotel want their money on the same timeline regardless of when you booked. It is not us being awkward.

Can I pay in instalments?

Interest free instalments are available when you book four or more months ahead. Not on a two week booking.

What should I have in writing before I pay?

An itemised confirmation showing airline, flight numbers, hotel name, distance to the Haram and total price. Never pay without it.

Should I buy travel insurance?

Yes, and more so on a late booking. Buy it at the point of booking, because most policies only cover cancellation from the date you take them out.

What if I have to cancel?

Late bookings have tighter terms because the underlying flights and rooms are already paid for. We set out the cancellation position in writing before you pay.

What you give up

Will I get a good hotel at short notice?

You will get what is available, which usually means further from the Haram. We tell you the distance in metres so you can decide rather than discover on arrival.

Will I get a direct flight?

Less likely. Direct Jeddah services fill first, so a late booking often connects through a Gulf hub.

Does a connection matter much?

It adds hours and a second boarding. Fine for most people, harder if elderly parents are travelling.

Can I still get quad sharing?

Sometimes. Quad rooms go early, so a family of five booking two weeks out may need two rooms, which changes the per person cost.

Can I get a Kaaba view room at short notice?

Very rarely. Those categories sell four to six months ahead. See the luxury packages page for what the tiers actually mean.

Will I get a Rawdah permit?

Possibly not the slot you want. Permits are free through the Nusuk app on a rolling basis and go quickly. Book the moment your visa is approved.

Can anyone guarantee me a Rawdah slot?

No. Anyone charging for one is selling something they do not have.

Will breakfast be included?

Depends on the property we can get. We confirm it in your quote rather than assuming.

Spotting a bad deal

What are the warning signs?

A promised 24 hour visa, no named hotel, full payment demanded before written confirmation, a suspiciously cheap flight, or anyone selling Rawdah access.

What is a self-transfer and why does it matter?

Two separate tickets rather than one. Bags do not check through and a delay on the first leg is entirely your problem. On a tight itinerary there is no slack to absorb that.

How do I tell if a quote is a self-transfer?

Ask whether it is one ticket with through-checked baggage. A vague answer means two tickets.

An agent has stopped replying and I fly next week. What now?

Send us everything you have in writing and we will tell you what is salvageable. Do not pay anybody else anything until you have a written confirmation in hand.

Is a very cheap late package always a scam?

Not always, but ask for the hotel name and the distance in metres. That question separates real deals from fiction faster than any other.

Timing and months

What is the best month for a late booking?

January, then November, then September and May. All four are quiet enough that booking late costs you almost nothing.

What is the worst?

December and March. Christmas sells out months ahead and Ramadan 2027 runs into early March.

Can I do a last minute Umrah in Ramadan?

The first twenty nights, with difficulty and at a price. The last ten nights, realistically no.

Why are the last ten nights impossible late?

Rooms near the Haram for Laylat al-Qadr are booked six to twelve months out. What remains is far out, very expensive, or both.

Is Umrah in the first half of Ramadan still rewarded?

The reward for Umrah in Ramadan applies across the month. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said Umrah in Ramadan equals Hajj in reward, reported in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim.

When is Ramadan 2027?

Around 8 February 2027, subject to moon sighting.

What if my only free week is a school holiday?

Then book as early as you possibly can, because school holiday weeks are exactly the ones where late availability disappears.

Are weekday departures easier to get?

Usually yes. If you can shift by a day or two midweek, tell us, because it often opens up better options.

Airports and flights

Which UK airport has the best late availability?

Heathrow, because it has the most Jeddah services and the most carriers competing.

What about Manchester?

Good. Direct services and high frequency, though the local market is large so seats move quickly.

What about Birmingham?

Good, with direct services, though it serves a big local community so late seats go fast.

What about Scotland?

Glasgow and Edinburgh both need a connection, usually through the Gulf. Moderate availability and more expensive late.

What about Stansted or Luton?

Limited. Both require a connection and neither has many options.

What about Leeds Bradford?

No Saudi service at all. We route Yorkshire bookings through Manchester.

Should I be flexible about the airport?

On a short notice booking, more than about anything else. If you can reach two airports, tell us both and we will check both.

Will my bags be checked through?

Yes, on everything we book. Single tickets with protected connections, no exceptions.

What if my connection is missed?

The airline reroutes you because it is one ticket. Message your agent and we rearrange the Saudi side around it.

Travelling for a specific reason

My parent is unwell and we want to go now. What do you need?

Tell us at the first message. It changes the hotel, whether we recommend direct over a cheaper connection, and whether we suggest a longer stay so nothing has to be rushed.

What hotel should I pick in that situation?

The closest one your budget reaches. Under 300 metres changes how many times a day you can go back to the room, which matters far more than the star rating.

Can you arrange a wheelchair?

Wheelchairs are available at the Haram itself, and upper level Tawaf areas are designed for wheelchair use. Book airline special assistance at least 48 hours before you fly.

Someone has died and I want to go and make dua. Can you keep it simple?

Yes. Tell us the dates and the numbers, we send one quote, and we do not upsell.

My leave came through unexpectedly. Is that a problem?

Not at all, it is one of the commonest reasons people book late. Send us the window and we will work with it.

Relatives are visiting from abroad and want to come. Does that work?

Often yes, but the visa position differs by nationality and by what visa they are in the UK on. Tell us at the start.

Can a group book at short notice?

Smaller groups yes. Above about fifteen people at two weeks notice it becomes very difficult, mostly because of documents rather than seats.

Practical preparation

What do I need to pack in a hurry?

Ihram in hand luggage, not the hold. Medication with the prescription label. The ACWY certificate. Unscented soap in 100ml containers if you are flying from an airport that still runs that rule.

Which airports still run the 100ml liquid rule?

Manchester, Stansted, Luton, Glasgow, Liverpool and Leeds Bradford among others. Heathrow, Gatwick, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Bristol allow 2 litres.

Where do I change into Ihram?

At the airport after security, or on the aircraft before the Miqat. Not at home.

When is the Miqat crossed?

Flying into Jeddah, roughly half an hour before landing. The crew announce it. You must be in Ihram with your intention made before that point.

What if I fly into Madinah first?

You do not enter Ihram on the plane. You enter it at Dhul Hulayfah, also called Abyar Ali, about 9 km outside Madinah on the road to Makkah.

What do women wear for Ihram?

No prescribed garment. Loose modest clothing covering everything except face and hands.

Can I still bring Zamzam home?

Yes, in checked baggage only, and only the official factory-sealed 5 litre bottle bought at the Saudi airport counters.

How do I get from Jeddah airport to Makkah?

Included in your package. About 90 km, an hour to ninety minutes by road.

Do you arrange Ziyarat on a short trip?

Yes, though on a shorter stay we will suggest prioritising rather than trying to fit everything in.

Can I perform Umrah more than once while I am there?

Yes. Return to the nearest Miqat, most people use Masjid Aisha at Taneem, re-enter Ihram and come back.

Booking with us

How do I start?

WhatsApp +44 7737 144 335 with your vaccine date, passport expiry dates, how many travelling and your two most flexible airports.

How fast will you reply?

Within hours during business hours. On a genuine short notice enquiry we treat it as such.

Can I call instead?

Yes, same number. On an urgent booking a phone call is often quicker than typing it all out.

Can I come to your office?

Yes, 7 Huxley Avenue, Manchester M8 0SJ. For a complicated late booking, sitting down with someone can save a day of messages.

Do you speak Urdu?

Yes, English or Urdu, no difference in price or service.

Who looks after me once I have booked?

One named agent from your first message to your return flight, on WhatsApp at any hour including Saudi time.

Can I change dates after booking late?

Much harder than on an advance booking, because the flights and rooms are already committed. We tell you the position before you pay.

Where can I read more?

Our blog covers Ziyarat and the practical side, and the packages hub has every tier, month and airport in one place.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. What is Umrah and who can perform it?

Umrah is a voluntary Islamic pilgrimage to Makkah that can be performed at any time of the year. It is open to all Muslims worldwide, regardless of age or gender, provided women under 45 are accompanied by a Mahram.

Hajj is the compulsory annual pilgrimage performed during the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah and is one of the Five Pillars of Islam. Umrah is a voluntary pilgrimage that can be performed throughout the year and is often referred to as the “lesser pilgrimage.”

The actual rituals of Umrah — Ihram, Tawaf, Sa’i, and Halq or Taqsir — can be completed in a few hours. However, most pilgrims spend 7 to 14 days in Saudi Arabia to maximise their time in worship at the Haram.

Umrah can be performed throughout the year. However, Ramadan is considered the most spiritually rewarding time, as performing Umrah during this month holds the reward equivalent to Hajj. January to March also offer cooler temperatures and a peaceful atmosphere.

Our Umrah packages typically include return flights from the UK, hotel accommodation in both Makkah and Madinah, airport transfers, Umrah visa processing, and 24/7 customer support. Full details are listed on each individual package page.
