More Than Just Umrah Packages

Umrah Packages for Students from the UK — Budget, Flexible & All-Inclusive — From £645 per Person

Umrah Packages for Students from the UK start from £645 per person — the same lowest price point available in our entire range. Every student package includes return flights from your nearest UK airport, Umrah visa processed through the official Saudi Nusuk portal, hotel accommodation in Makkah and Madinah, and all Saudi Arabia ground transport. We do not create artificially discounted ‘student packages’ that cut essential services — we offer the full Umrah experience at prices achievable on a student budget, particularly in off-peak months.

The honest case for Umrah during your student years is not about a discount. It is about timing. Your student years — the summer between years, the Easter break, the Christmas fortnight, the gap year — are some of the most genuinely free periods of your adult life. No mortgage payment waiting, no children’s school schedules to manage, no spouse’s annual leave to coordinate. You have time. You have energy. You have the specific freedom of being at a life stage where a 7-night or 10-night journey to the most sacred place on earth is logistically simpler than it will be at almost any other point in your adult life.

Packages Umrah (7 Huxley Avenue, Manchester M8 0SJ) arranges student Umrah from every major UK university city — Manchester, London, Birmingham, Leeds, Sheffield, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Nottingham, and more. WhatsApp +44 7737 144335 with your preferred university holiday window, departure airport, and budget — we return a personalised student quote the same day. All packages priced £20 below comparable UK market rates.

Why Your Student Years Are the Best Time to Perform Your First Umrah

The Student Time Advantage — Something You Won’t Have at 35

There is a version of the deferred Umrah story that almost every UK Muslim adult knows. You will go after you graduate. After you find your first job. After you get settled. After the mortgage is sorted. After the kids start school. After they finish school. The intention is real. The Umrah keeps moving.

Your student years offer something that becomes progressively rarer in adult life: blocks of free time that are not owned by work, children, or financial obligations. The 12–14 week summer. The 3–5 week Easter. The Christmas fortnight. In a 3-year degree, this amounts to approximately 40 weeks of genuine holiday — more free time than most UK workers accumulate in five years of annual leave. The question is not whether Umrah is worth prioritising during student years. The question is whether you will prioritise it or defer it for another 15 years.

The Prophet ﷺ said: ‘Take benefit of five before five: your youth before your old age, your health before your sickness, your wealth before your poverty, your free time before your busyness, and your life before your death.’ (Shu’ab al-Iman, Al-Bayhaqi). The student years contain three of these five — youth, health, and free time — simultaneously. This is rare.

The Student Spiritual Moment — Why This Age, This Place

UK Muslim students in their late teens and early twenties are at a specific point in their spiritual development: old enough to understand the full significance of the Kaaba and what performing Tawaf there means, young enough for the experience to shape their practice and identity in ways that adult Umrah sometimes cannot reach with the same formative depth. Alumni of UK universities who performed their first Umrah as students — whether with their Islamic society, with a group of friends, or alone — consistently describe it as a reference point for the rest of their religious life. Not as the moment everything became easy, but as the moment Islam became entirely real.

UK University Holiday Windows for Student Umrah — The Complete Guide

UK university terms and holidays vary by institution and by course. The main vacation windows where Umrah is practically achievable are:

Easter University Holiday — Late March to Mid-April

Most UK universities break for Easter approximately 3–5 weeks around late March to mid-April. In 2027, Easter falls on Sunday 4 April. University Easter breaks typically run from approximately 22 March to approximately 16 April for most institutions — giving a potential 3.5-week window. Makkah in late March and April averages 32–38°C — manageable for healthy young adults with morning-and-evening Tawaf scheduling. Easter is a popular student Umrah window precisely because it is long enough for a 10-night package and falls in the post-Ramadan period when the Haram is relatively accessible. 3-star packages in April start from £659/pp.

Summer University Holiday — June to September

UK university summer holidays are the longest of the year — typically 12–14 weeks from approximately June through to late September. This is the student Umrah window with the most calendar flexibility. The entire 12-week summer is available: early June (post-exam, Muharram 1449 — Islamic New Year, Ashura), July–August (summer peak, Rabi al-Awwal 1449, Mawlid al-Nabi), and September (Rabi al-Thani, cooling trend). The heat consideration: June–August Makkah averages 41–44°C, which requires Fajr-and-evening Tawaf scheduling. September’s cooling (to 34–38°C) is significantly more comfortable. For budget students, June and September offer the year’s quieter pricing alongside the long summer freedom.

Christmas University Holiday — December to January

Most UK universities break approximately 20 December through to 4–7 January 2028 — giving 2.5 to 3 weeks. December in Makkah averages 25–30°C — some of the most comfortable conditions available. Christmas and New Year Umrah has become increasingly popular among UK Muslim students who do not observe Christmas as a religious occasion and find the 2–3 week break ideal for a 7–10 night Umrah. December pricing adds a modest Christmas window premium over November’s lowest rates but remains below Ramadan or summer.

Mid-Year Breaks — Reading Weeks and Module Breaks

Some UK universities have reading weeks or module breaks in October–November, February, and occasionally January. These shorter breaks (1 week) can accommodate a 7-night Umrah package with careful flight timing. October reading weeks align with October half-term — the best outdoor Tawaf weather of the year — and some students specifically plan their Umrah around these shorter breaks. Contact us with your university break dates and we identify the most practical package.

Gap Year Students and Graduates

Students between A-levels and university, or between undergraduate and postgraduate study, have some of the most flexible Umrah windows available to any UK Muslim — no fixed term dates, maximum calendar freedom. Gap year Umrah in October or November (quietest Haram, lowest prices) is one of the most straightforward Umrahs available: you choose the dates that suit you, we arrange everything, and you go. For students who have just completed their A-levels in June and have a September university start date, the July–August window is 8–10 weeks of genuine freedom — enough for a significant Umrah stay in the Mawlid/Rabi al-Awwal period.

Student Umrah Budget Planning — How to Make It Financially Realistic

The most common obstacle to student Umrah is not intention — it is money. We address this directly with the honest numbers:

The table above shows that a 7-night November 3-star Umrah — at £645 all-inclusive — requires saving approximately £107 per month if booked 6 months ahead, or approximately £25 per week. For a UK university student receiving the full maintenance loan, part-time work income, or parental support, this is a genuine and achievable saving target. The £645 is not a down payment — it is the total all-inclusive package price including flights, visa, hotel, and transport.

Student Budget Strategies

  • Book off-peak:

November and January are the joint-cheapest Umrah months — from £645/pp. The same experience that costs £879/pp in Ramadan costs £645/pp in November. That saving of £234 is a significant amount on a student budget. The only thing that changes is the month — not the Haram, not the rituals, not the experience.

  • Go quad-share:

Our prices are based on quad-sharing — 4 people per room. For student groups travelling together from your Islamic society or university, quad-sharing makes complete practical sense. Four friends sharing a hotel room in Makkah and Madinah is entirely normal and reduces the per-person cost to its minimum.

  • Travel with your Islamic society:

Islamic societies at most UK universities organise annual or bi-annual Umrah trips, typically at Easter or during the summer. Joining an existing Islamic society group gives you the social structure of known companions, the logistical ease of a coordinated group booking, and potentially additional group discount pricing for groups of 10 or more.

  • Book early for better pricing:

For student holiday windows that are predictable — Easter, summer, Christmas — booking 3–4 months ahead locks in lower hotel and flight costs before demand builds. A November package booked in July costs approximately the same as one booked in October. An Easter package booked in January typically costs less than one booked in March.

  • Choose 7 nights over longer durations:

Seven nights is complete for a first Umrah and is the most budget-friendly duration. The difference between 7 and 10 nights at 3-star is approximately £50 per person — a meaningful saving on a student budget.

What Every Student Umrah Package Includes

Return Flights from Your Nearest UK University City Airport

Manchester (MAN) for students at Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Liverpool, Lancaster, and Scotland. London Heathrow (LHR) for students at London universities (UCL, King’s, Queen Mary, SOAS, LSE, Imperial, and more). Birmingham (BHX) for students at Birmingham, Aston, Warwick, Coventry, Keele, and Midlands universities. Glasgow and Edinburgh for Scottish university students. Leeds Bradford (LBA) for students at Leeds and Bradford universities. We match your departure airport to your university city — no need to travel across the country.

Umrah Visa — Complete Process Handled

Your Umrah visa is processed through the official Saudi Nusuk portal in your name. You send your documents by WhatsApp — we do everything else. Standard processing: 4–7 working days. For student groups booking together, all members’ visas are processed simultaneously in a single coordinated batch.

Hotel Accommodation — Quad-Share for Student Groups

Hotel name, star rating, and distance from the Haram in metres confirmed before deposit. Quad-share rooms for student groups of 4 — the most cost-effective student format and the most socially natural for university-age pilgrims travelling together. Gender-separated rooms: male students in male quad-share rooms, female students in female quad-share rooms.

Nusuk Registration and Rawdah Pre-Booking

Every student pilgrim is registered on the Nusuk platform and has a Rawdah visit slot pre-booked before departure. Students familiar with apps and digital platforms typically find the Nusuk app setup straightforward — but we handle registration before you fly regardless.

All Saudi Arabia Ground Transport

Airport transfer, Makkah-Madinah intercity transport, and return airport transfer — all included. Students share transport with other pilgrims from the same UK booking pool or, for Islamic society groups, in their own dedicated vehicle.

24/7 Named Agent — WhatsApp Support

Your named agent is on WhatsApp 24/7 throughout your Saudi Arabia stay. For students performing their first Umrah — potentially without parents or experienced relatives alongside — this WhatsApp contact is the practical reassurance that any on-ground question gets a direct answer.

Our top recommendation for budget-conscious students: November (reading week or term break if possible) or January (Christmas/New Year holiday). Both offer the year’s lowest prices (£645/pp), the quietest Haram of the year, and the most comfortable temperatures for young adults performing their first Umrah without the summer heat management pressure. For students who can only travel during official university holidays: Easter is our strongest recommendation — long enough for a meaningful stay, mild enough for comfortable worship.

Islamic Society Umrah — Organising a University Group from the UK

University Islamic societies (IS or ISOC) across the UK organise annual or bi-annual group Umrah trips — typically at Easter or during the summer break. If you are an Islamic society officer organising your society’s Umrah trip, or a student looking to join an existing IS group Umrah, here is how it works with Packages Umrah:

For Islamic Society Officers — Organising Group Umrah

Contact us via WhatsApp with your Islamic society’s details: university name, approximate group size, preferred university holiday window, and star rating preference. We provide a group quote for your IS that you can present to your membership. Islamic society group packages for 10+ members access our group discount pricing — from £625/pp at 3-star in off-peak months. We handle every visa, every hotel room configuration, every transport booking, and every Nusuk registration for all group members. Your IS committee deals with one named agent.

For Islamic society group Umrahs, we recommend: a pre-departure group preparation session (which we can provide digitally — a guide document covering Ihram, Tawaf, Sa’i, Nusuk, and Makkah practical orientation). Many IS groups use their pre-departure WhatsApp group to share these materials and build collective preparation and excitement before travel.

For Individual Students Joining a Group

If your Islamic society already organises group Umrah and you want to join their next trip, speak to your IS committee. If your IS does not yet organise group Umrah, you can be the first — WhatsApp us, get a quote, bring it to your IS committee, and be the person who made your society’s first group Umrah happen. Many students who have been the organiser of their IS’s first group Umrah describe it as one of the most rewarding things they did at university.

Student Umrah Package Durations — Which Fits Your Holiday Window?

7 Nights Student Umrah Package — From £645/pp

Seven nights (4 Makkah, 3 Madinah) is the most popular student format — specifically because it fits within a 9-day absence including travel days, usable within a 2-week university reading week or a 10-day Easter break. A Thursday departure returns the following Friday using 7 calendar days and 5 weekdays. Seven nights in October or November’s quiet Haram delivers everything a first Umrah requires — all four rituals, the Rawdah visit, and core Madinah Ziyarat — without requiring 2 weeks of university absence. Our most recommended student package.

10 Nights Student Umrah Package — From £695/pp

Ten nights (6 Makkah, 4 Madinah) is ideal for students using the Easter break (3–5 weeks) or the summer holiday. The additional 3 Makkah nights give student pilgrims something that 7 nights only begins: the settling-in. By Makkah night 4, first-time student pilgrims consistently describe the transition from logistical orientation to genuine spiritual presence. The Fajr Tawaf at dawn stops feeling like an effort and starts feeling like the most natural way to begin a day. This is the quality of worship that a second or third adult Umrah tries to replicate — and it becomes available to student pilgrims within 10 nights.

12 Nights Student Umrah Package — From £735/pp

Twelve nights suits students using the full Easter break or the early part of the summer holiday. For gap year students with maximum calendar flexibility, 12 nights is an extraordinary investment: 7 Makkah nights in the most spiritually significant place on earth at the age of 18–22, at the beginning of adult life. Multiple Umrahs are achievable — returning to Tan’im to re-enter Ihram and perform a second or third Umrah in the remaining Makkah nights. Students who perform 12-night Umrahs consistently describe returning to the UK with a changed relationship with prayer that persists beyond the immediate post-Umrah glow.

14 Nights Student Umrah Package — From £775/pp

Two full weeks for a student Umrah — using the summer holiday or the Christmas break — is the most immersive format available. 8 Makkah nights and 6 Madinah nights give a student pilgrim the rarest gift: time in the Haram that moves from visiting to inhabiting. By the end of 14 nights, the daily Haram rhythm has become as habitual as a university lecture schedule — except the content is entirely worship, entirely personal, and entirely present in a way that undergraduate life rarely manages to provide.

3 Star vs 4 Star for Students — The Honest Comparison

Rating

Haram Distance

Student Context

Temperature Impact

Price (off-peak)

When to Choose

3 Star

300–800m

Quad-share, functional, clean. Most student groups choose this.

Fine in Oct–Apr (32°C or less). Hot in summer (42°C).

£645–£775/pp

Oct, Nov, Jan, April departures. Budget-first students.

4 Star

100–400m

Closer proximity, better facilities. Still affordable.

Manageable in summer. Excellent all year.

£765–£1,005/pp

Summer departures. Students with modest budget flexibility.

5 Star

50–200m

Premium proximity and comfort. Less typical for student budgets.

Best in any month.

£965–£1,335/pp

Special occasion. Gap year students with more flexibility.

For most UK student pilgrims, 3-star quad-share in October, November, or April is the best value-experience combination available. The Haram experience — Tawaf, Sa’i, the Rawdah — is identical regardless of hotel star rating. The walk to the Haram is longer from a 3-star, but in October’s 32°C, 15 minutes to the Haram at dawn is not a hardship for a 20-year-old. For students specifically choosing summer Umrah in July or August, we recommend 4-star to reduce the heat exposure of the longer walk.

Practical Guide for UK Student Pilgrims

Student Documents Checklist

  • Valid UK passport — minimum 6 months from your return date. Check NOW if planning within the next year.
  • MenACWY vaccination certificate — from your NHS GP surgery or university health centre (many universities have on-campus GP services). Book this appointment early — university GP surgeries get busy around term start.
  • Recent passport photograph — digital format (JPEG). UK pharmacy or digital photo service.
  • Travel insurance with medical cover — available from student-friendly providers at competitive rates.
  • Nusuk app downloaded on your smartphone before departure.
  • Your named agent’s WhatsApp number saved on your phone.

Student Health and Fitness Preparation

Students are generally the healthiest demographic of UK Umrah pilgrims — but the Haram’s physical demands surprise many first-timers regardless of age. Tawaf involves walking approximately 3–4km of circular circuits on marble. Sa’i involves approximately 3.5km of walking. Combined, your first Umrah requires approximately 6–8km of walking in the Makkah heat on top of the day’s other Haram visits. UK students who are active — those who walk or cycle regularly — typically handle this without issue. Students who are largely sedentary (sitting-at-a-desk student lifestyle) benefit from building a daily 20–30 minute walking habit in the 4–6 weeks before departure.

The Student Social Dynamic — Group Vs Solo

Students considering Umrah face a specific social question: go with a group of friends, join the Islamic society trip, or go alone. All three formats work and all three have specific advantages. Solo student Umrah gives maximum personal freedom and focus — no group coordination, no schedule compromise. IS group Umrah gives community, practical support, and the shared experience that many students describe as one of the most bonding events in their university social life. Friends’ group Umrah (3–5 people who know each other) gives a middle option — coordinated but intimate. Our packages accommodate all three formats.

Halal Food and Student Practical Life in Makkah

Makkah is entirely halal — there is no non-halal food available in the city. This is a practical simplification that UK Muslim students sometimes find surprising: no need to check menus, no halal-certifier logos to look for, no uncertainty about what is in the food. Every restaurant near the Haram is halal. Fast food options (including global chains adapted for Saudi Arabia), Pakistani and South Asian restaurants, and Middle Eastern cuisine are all available in abundance near any 3-star or 4-star hotel in the Makkah Haram area. Budget-conscious students typically eat at restaurants near their hotel for SAR 15–30 per meal (approximately £3–£6) — significantly less than UK food costs.

Student Umrah from Every UK University City

Packages Umrah arranges student Umrah from every major UK university city. Our Manchester office (7 Huxley Avenue, M8 0SJ) serves the North of England and Scotland. Walk-in welcome — we specifically welcome student visitors to our office to discuss their first Umrah planning.

How to Book Your Student Umrah Package

Step 1 — Choose Your University Holiday Window

Identify your next university holiday that allows a 7–14 night absence: Easter break (~22 Mar–16 Apr), summer holiday (June–Sept), Christmas break (~20 Dec–7 Jan), or a reading week (Oct/Nov, Feb). WhatsApp +44 7737 144335 with your preferred window, university city (nearest airport), whether solo/group, and budget. Walk-in welcome at 7 Huxley Avenue, Manchester M8 0SJ.

Step 2 — Same-Day Student Quote

We return a personalised student quote the same day: specific hotel name, Haram distance in metres, airline and flight times, star rating options, quad-share price, and total itemised cost. We note whether the month’s weather and Haram crowd level are particularly suitable for a first-time student pilgrim.

Step 3 — £100 Deposit Confirms Your Booking

A £100 deposit confirms your hotel, flights, and dates. For student groups (IS or friends), each member pays their own £100. Balance due 8 weeks before departure — timed to fit around student term payment cycles where we can.

Step 4 — All Documents by WhatsApp

Passport photograph, recent photo, and MenACWY certificate — sent by WhatsApp. For student groups, the IS organiser collects and sends all members’ documents in one batch. We verify and confirm within 24 hours.

Step 5 — Visa and Nusuk Complete Before You Fly

Your Umrah visa processed and Nusuk registration completed before departure. We pre-book your Rawdah visiting slot. You receive confirmation of all permits before your travel pack is issued.

Step 6 — Student Travel Pack

Two weeks before departure: e-tickets, hotel voucher, Saudi Arabia transport itinerary, Nusuk permit, Rawdah booking confirmation, First Umrah Guide (if your first Umrah), and student-specific practical Makkah orientation including food guide and budget tips.

Step 7 — Agent on WhatsApp Throughout

Your agent is on WhatsApp 24/7 during your Saudi Arabia stay. For student groups, one agent contact covers the entire group — the IS organiser or designated contact manages group queries through a single WhatsApp line.

Frequently Asked Questions — Umrah Packages for Students from UK

Cost and Budget

How much does a student Umrah package cost from the UK?

Our student Umrah packages start from £645/pp for a 7-night 3-star quad-share package in off-peak months (November, January). Easter student packages from £659/pp. Summer from £729/pp. All include return flights, visa, hotel, and transport — no hidden extras.

Is there a specific student discount on Umrah packages?

We do not apply a ‘student’ label to an artificially reduced service. What we offer students is the same full-service package at off-peak pricing — which is genuinely lower than peak months. The cheapest months (November, January) at £645/pp are accessible to most student budgets without compromising any aspect of the Umrah experience.

How much is a 7 nights student Umrah package?

From £645/pp in off-peak months (quad-share, 3-star). From approximately £679/pp during Easter or summer school holiday windows. The 4-star 7-night option starts from £765/pp.

How much is a 10 nights student Umrah package?

From £695/pp in off-peak months (3-star quad-share). From approximately £729/pp in school holiday or summer windows. Our most recommended student duration.

How can I save for my Umrah as a student?

Saving approximately £25/week for 6 months covers a 7-night November 3-star package (£645 total). This is achievable alongside student loan income, part-time work income, or family support. Many students specifically set up a dedicated Umrah savings pot and treat it as a regular debit.

Can I pay for my Umrah in instalments?

Yes — for bookings made 4+ months before departure, we can discuss a payment plan structure. Contact us when you enquire and we advise on what is possible for your specific package and dates.

University Calendars and Timing

When is the best time for students to perform Umrah?

Easter university break (March–April) for the best combination of sufficient holiday length, comfortable weather, and affordable pricing. November (with a reading week or day release) or January (Christmas break) for the cheapest prices and quietest Haram. July–August for maximum summer freedom despite the heat.

Can I do Umrah during a university reading week?

Yes — a 7-night Umrah package uses approximately 9 calendar days including travel. A 1-week reading week allows a 7-night package if your flights are timed carefully. We advise on the most efficient departure and return timing for your specific reading week dates.

How do I know when my university breaks?

Check your specific university’s academic calendar — available on your university’s website. University breaks vary by institution and sometimes by faculty. If you give us your approximate break dates, we advise on the most practical package format.

Can students perform Umrah during term time?

Yes — students are adults who manage their own schedules. Missing 7–10 days of lectures is a personal academic decision. Many students plan Umrah around assessment submission deadlines and periods with lighter contact hours. We make no judgment on the academic timing — that is your decision.

Islamic Society Groups

Can my university Islamic society book a group Umrah?

Yes — IS group Umrahs are a core part of what we arrange. Contact us with your IS’s approximate group size, preferred university holiday window, and budget. We provide a group quote for presentation to your membership. For groups of 10+, group discount pricing applies (from £625/pp).

Who is the contact person for an IS group Umrah?

The IS President, Umrah officer, or any committee member designated by the IS can be our single point of contact for the group booking. All logistics, documentation, and visa processing are managed through this one contact.

Does my IS need any special authorisation to organise group Umrah?

No — an IS or Islamic society booking a group Umrah does not require any authorisation beyond the standard UK tour operator booking process. We are the licensed UK Umrah operator; your IS is simply organising its members to participate.

How many members does an IS need for a group rate?

Our group discount rates apply from 10 members. Below 10, IS members travel at the standard individual rate (from £645/pp). Both rates are genuinely affordable for most IS members.

First Umrah Questions for Students

Do students need any special preparation for their first Umrah?

The preparation for a student’s first Umrah is the same as for any first-timer: learn the four rituals (Ihram, Tawaf, Sa’i, Halq/Taqsir) before departure, organise your documents (passport, MenACWY certificate), download the Nusuk app, and practise putting on Ihram garments (for men). We provide a comprehensive First Umrah Guide to all first-time pilgrims.

Is Umrah safe for UK students travelling solo?

Yes. Makkah and Madinah are among the safest destinations for solo travellers of any age. The structured Haram environment, significant Saudi security presence, and the overwhelmingly devout pilgrim population make both holy cities genuinely safe for UK students travelling alone.

Can female students perform Umrah without a Mahram?

Yes. Current Saudi regulations allow women aged 18 and over to perform Umrah without a Mahram. Female students can travel independently or as part of a women-only IS group. All our packages for female students satisfy current Saudi regulatory requirements.

Will I know anyone in the Haram if I travel solo?

The Haram is filled with pilgrims from every Muslim country in the world. First-time solo student pilgrims consistently describe unexpected connections with other pilgrims — sharing knowledge of rituals, making dua together briefly at the Zamzam point, or simply acknowledging each other’s presence in the Tawaf. The Haram is simultaneously vast and intimate in a way that UK students consistently describe as unlike any environment they have ever been in.

Practical Questions

Do students need to speak Arabic for Umrah?

No. The rituals can be performed with intentions and duas in English. The specific Arabic duas associated with Tawaf and Sa’i are brief and easily memorised from phonetic transliterations in our First Umrah Guide.

What do students typically eat in Makkah?

Makkah near the Haram has abundant food options — all halal, all affordable. Pakistani, South Asian, Middle Eastern, and international fast food restaurants operate throughout the Haram area. Budget meals: approximately £3–£6 per person. Students typically spend significantly less on food in Makkah than in their UK university city.

What happens on my student Umrah if my exam dates change?

For changes that occur before your balance payment (due 8 weeks before departure), we discuss your options — changing dates subject to availability, or potentially deferring. For last-minute academic changes, travel insurance that covers cancellation is essential. We recommend all student pilgrims purchase travel insurance with cancellation cover.

Can I visit any sights beyond the holy mosques?

Yes — Ziyarat (visits to historical Islamic sites) are an optional addition to any package in both Makkah and Madinah. In Makkah, sites include the Prophet’s ﷺ birthplace area, Masjid Aisha, Jabal Nour (where the first revelation was received), and Jabal Thawr. In Madinah: Masjid Quba, Mount Uhud, Masjid al-Qiblatain, and the Baqi cemetery. For student first-timers, we recommend completing the Umrah rituals first before adding Ziyarat, not before.

Book Your Student Umrah Package from the UK — Don’t Defer the Intention

There is no guaranteed tomorrow. The intention to perform Umrah is itself an act of worship — but an intention that remains an intention for years, without becoming a booking, is still deferred. Your student years have something that your 30s and 40s will not: unstructured time, physical energy, and the freedom of not yet having accumulated the obligations that adult life carries.

The 7-night November package at £645/pp. The 10-night Easter package at £695/pp. The Islamic society group trip that you organise and lead. Whatever format your first Umrah takes — the Haram will be there. The rituals will be the same. The experience of first seeing the Kaaba will be identical whether you are 19 or 45. The question is simply when you make it happen.

Your student Umrah package from £645/pp includes return flights from your nearest UK university airport, Umrah visa handled in full, hotel accommodation (quad-share available with your IS or friends group), Rawdah booking confirmed before departure, all Saudi Arabia ground transport, and a named agent on WhatsApp 24/7 throughout your pilgrimage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. What is Umrah and who can perform it?

Umrah is a voluntary Islamic pilgrimage to Makkah that can be performed at any time of the year. It is open to all Muslims worldwide, regardless of age or gender, provided women under 45 are accompanied by a Mahram.

Hajj is the compulsory annual pilgrimage performed during the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah and is one of the Five Pillars of Islam. Umrah is a voluntary pilgrimage that can be performed throughout the year and is often referred to as the “lesser pilgrimage.”

The actual rituals of Umrah — Ihram, Tawaf, Sa’i, and Halq or Taqsir — can be completed in a few hours. However, most pilgrims spend 7 to 14 days in Saudi Arabia to maximise their time in worship at the Haram.

Umrah can be performed throughout the year. However, Ramadan is considered the most spiritually rewarding time, as performing Umrah during this month holds the reward equivalent to Hajj. January to March also offer cooler temperatures and a peaceful atmosphere.

Our Umrah packages typically include return flights from the UK, hotel accommodation in both Makkah and Madinah, airport transfers, Umrah visa processing, and 24/7 customer support. Full details are listed on each individual package page.
